Van Gough

 

The students were tasked with creating a drawing in the style of Van Gogh. To begin, they selected tissue paper and designed a pattern before securing it to the paper with clear acrylic. Afterward, they used crayons or oil pastels to depict movement through lines or dots. Finally, they cut out a black object and adhered it to their composition.

Extension Activity: I would have the students use a dark color and decorate a small piece of paper. We would then make a class "starry night" to display in the classroom.
